Yes – we are an organic market.

Who runs the Brisbane Organic Food and Farms Market?

The OFFM market is operated by Organic Farms Market,  which is an OFC Certified organic wholesale company.

What kinds of products can I find at the market?

You will find quality fresh organic produce and products direct from Australian cottage farms and small manufacturers. Suppliers include certified organic, biodynamic, permaculture, vetted ethical and holistic cottage producers and small manufacturers – the majority of produce and products are direct from the growers and manufacturers. Some of the products include:

  • organic sourdough breads
  • smallgoods
  • meats
  • fruits
  • vegetables
  • seafood
  • nuts, pulses, and grains
  • pantry items
  • dairy
  • spring water
  • personal products
  • pet food and products
  • organic food, drinks, coffee,  juices and smoothies
  • eggs
  • and a range of other direct cottage and handmade producers

Is there shade?

There are lots of shady trees at our markets, and plenty of places to sit down.

Where can I find parking and how much will it cost?

There is ample parking in the streets that surround the park, as well as a carpark, and an allocated area within the park.

Are the markets wheelchair accessible?

It’s all wheelchair accessible. The ground is very level.

Are there ATM machines on the property?

Yes there will be a mobile ATM, many vendors have eftpos.

Are the markets open when it rains?

Yes, the market is open in all weather conditions (except cyclones) unless otherwise stated.

What are your pet rules?

There is an off leash park at adjacent to our market.

For the welfare of everyone we suggest that dogs are left at home. Please help make our Market a place where everyone can relax and enjoy their Saturday.

Brisbane City Council, the owner of the Market venue, provides conditions for dogs in public spaces.

“Your responsibilities as a dog owner are to:

  • walk your dog on a lead when in a public place
  • keep your dog quiet
  • prevent your dog attacking or frightening people or animals
  • pick up after your dog when it is in a public place” Ref: Brisbane government

Queensland Department of Health provides guidelines for food stalls:

  • “A food business must not permit live animals… in areas in which food is handled or served”
  • “It is the choice of the food business as to whether or not they permit a dog that is not an assistance animal, to be present in an outdoor dining area.”
  • “A food business may exclude a dog… for any reason.”
  • “Control of a customer’s dog must be maintained at all times while dining at the food premises.”

Does the Market have a Lost & Found?

There will be a lost and found stall with the Market Site Manager. The Site manager can be contacted during the day on 0407 755 222

Is there a first aid tent?

Yes, there will be a qualified first aid responder on site.

Are there any job openings?

Stalls are often looking for staff – the best way to find out is to come down and talk to the stallholders.

Is alcohol available ?

No

Is public transportation close to the market?

Absolutely! We suggest you use Translink to find the service best suited to your travel needs.

Can I ride my bicycle to the market?

You can ride your bike if you like.

Is there anything for my kids?

There will be some activities which we will confirm, along with healthy food and drinks stall with plenty of places to sit in the shade.

Do the vendors accept credit cards?

Many vendors have credit card facilities , however some do not. Always best to ask before choosing your items.

Is there any entertainment?

Yes, there will be some buskers.

How often is the Market held?

The market will be held every Saturday from 6am to 12 noon.
